Race Mechanics

1. The QCIM Night Run 2014 is organized by Proactive Sports Management.

2. Postponement or Cancellation of event

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone QCIM Night run 2014 at any given time. In the case of cancellation, the Organizer will inform the Participant prior to the date of the Event and there shall be no refund of fees paid. The Organizer is not liable for any loss or inconvenience.

3. No Refund Policy

Once registration has been completed, there will be no fee refund for participants who do not eventually take part in the Event or claim their race kit during the given date or time. There will be no fee refund if the event is cancelled.

4. Race Kit Claiming

Participants agree to claim their race kits at the given date and time. Organizer will not be held liable for any unclaimed race kits. No requests thereafter will be entertained.

5. Participant Information

Participant agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about the Participant. If the Participant provides any false or outdated information, the Organizer may terminate the Participant's registration.

The Organizer will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.

Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer their race entries to another party or change any information (i.e. name, gender, race category) after their registrations are confirmed.

6. Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizer to ensure the participants' safety, participants run at their own risk and the Organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Race Day.

7. Race bib

The form on the reverse side of the participants' bib number must be completed in full and accurately. Participants must wear the assigned bib number on his/her chest. Participants who are not wearing a bib number cannot partake in the race.

8. Cut-off time

Participants should start not later than five (5) minutes after the designated gun start. Late Participants will not be allowed to race.

Roads will be opened for public use four (4) hours after the first gun start. Participants who are still on Route and choose to continue running after the cut-off time, do so at their own risk.

9. Winners & Awards

The "Gun Time" will be used to determine the winners for each race.

Open Category

Each participant is allowed to win in this category provided that no race rules have been violated (See Race Rules at official website). A winning participant will be verified through the following:

  • Official “Gun Time” provided by Race Officials
  • One (1) valid government-issued ID

Closed Category (Quezon City residents only)

Any Filipino participant residing in Quezon City is allowed to win in this category provided that no race rules have been violated (See Race Rules at official website). A winning participant will be verified through the following:

  • Official “Gun Time” provided by Race Officials
  • One (1) valid government-issued ID
  • Proof of citizenship
    • NSO birth certificate
    • Philippine Passport
    • Any Government issued ID stating nationality & address

Any Filipino participant residing in Quezon City is eligible to win in both Open and Closed categories provide that no race rules have been violated and requirements have been complied.

For prize winners or possible prize winners, disputes and appeals must be made immediately within 30 minutes of the published results on the results notice board on-site or immediately after the prize presentation, whichever is earlier, failing which the Organizer reserves the right not to entertain any disputes or appeals thereafter. There will be a non-refundable fee of P3000.

For all other participants, disputes and appeals regarding the results must be submitted in writing including electronic mail within 7 days of the Race Day. The Organizer reserves the right not to entertain any dispute or appeal after the said date.

10. Finishers medal

All Participants who successfully complete the race will be awarded a Finisher’s medal upon presentation of their Bib Number to the respective officials at the medal collection counter.

All Finisher's Medals must be collected on Race Day. No requests thereafter will be entertained.
